Episode 4: Marucho's Mission

Plot:
The episode starts with Dan and Baron in another one of their training sessions. Mira offers to participate this. Seeing this, Marucho is jealous and sad at the time.
Later, Mylene is furious at the Aquos Bakugan she racked up, calling them useless and simply disposing them. She sets off to find more Aquos Bakugan.
At night, Marucho sets off to find an Aquos Bakugan. He leaves with his own gauntlet, confident that it's going to be easy.
However, after a whole night of walking in the desert, Marucho feels depressed, until he sees a forest. Suddenly, he finds a forest and a Bakugan. When he leans in for a closer look, he springs a trap!
Dan and Ace have a fight meanwhile. Ace accuses Marucho of being a ditcher, but Dan is confident that Marucho is going to come back with an Aquos Bakugan. Mira says there are more important things currently, and orders the team to set off.
It turns out the Bakugan was Elfin. She wasn't friendly to Marucho, until she realized that he knew Preyas (who sounds different.) It turns out he was popular with all the Bakugan, and they
were all sad when he was taken away, leaving Elfin to protect the Wontu in the forest. Marucho hears this and offers to become Elfin's partner. However, Elfin isn't satisfied with Marucho, until he passes the tests, which he fails miserably.
Things are starting to get bad for Marucho until Mylene starts attacking Elfin's forest. Elfin agrees to team up with Marucho temporarily to stand against Mylene.
A battle ensues, in which Elfin defeats 3 of Mylene's Bakugan using her ability to change attributes, resulting in her life gauge to be reduced to 50. However, Mylene is confident and whips out her ace, a trap called Tripod Theta. It was an extinct Bakugan, until revived by Vestal science. She strikes out with her Stug and Clawcer, putting the game at 3 to 1. Mylene takes advantage of Tripod Theta's ability to drain the powers of Aquos, Ventus, and Darkus, and is about to take Elfin.
Elfin is about to be crushed, but Marucho, who was knocked prone, used a defense ability at the last moment. Mylene still thinks she's going to win, but is stopped by a Ventus brawler.
Mira sees a light, the sign of a battle, and follows it. She arrives just in time to see Tripod Theta being defeated by the mysterious brawler. Mylene offers him to join the Vexos, but the brawler doesn't talk. Mylene takes that as a no and leaves. The brawler says nothing and leaves like a ninja (could it be Shun?) Mira wonders if the brawler was her brother.
Marucho wakes up and looks for Elfin. He's afraid he lost her, but it turns out she was looking for water to give him. She tells him the test he took previously weren't official, and the real test was finding out if Marucho had trust in his partner, as Preyas always said that the most important thing between a brawler and his partner was trust. Elfin tells him he passes the test and she will be his partner. However, she still wants Marucho to be slightly more fit, and orders him to do 50 push-ups. With Marucho having a new partner, the group heads to Alpha City...
